Simply gorgeous (the drawing, not him since I dun swing that way... although, in the most hetero way possible, yes gorgeous.) You do great ink work, keep it up!

:aww: Thank-you, again. Always so flattering ;). Haha its okay you can admit he's a good lookin dude. I wouldn't think any less of you lol. I think im really getting into ink again, hopefully i wont get frustrated with it any time soon.

I do my best ;). I really enjoy working with ink, but I change my mind far too frequently to be able to play nice with the permanence of ink. Which thus leads to frustration... and eventually to me throwing my pens across the room. It doesn't help that there aren't a lot of good tools to cover up pen marks that you regret putting to paper. Liquid Paper is too textured to work well, and most of the correction inks I've found are far too thin and require too many applications to cover up said mistakes. Oh well, hopefully you don't get the bouts of ink-dignation (haha I made a joke) that I do!

Haha well i think working with a pen and oldschool ink, with like an ink pot and a quill pen is a little different. I'd never make it through a whole drawing with a pen. There is something about ink and a quill pen that if theres a mistake somehow its forgivable. Besides, you have no choice but to go failrly slowly, you have to keep dipping the quill for more ink, and the quills often have an attitude problem lol. There's mistakes in those drawings for sure, theres nothing i can do about them. Im too affraid to even try a 'remover', a professor of mine showed me how to litterally like scrap it off. Too rough on the nerves for me, i'd rather leave a little mistake.

Good point. I think I never really got into the old school inking because quill pens made me die a little inside every time I tried to use them, lol. I'd either not get enough ink, or not get a good enough line and eventually I would tear through the paper (usually 80# sketch paper). I tried it again recently, same issues, so I think I'll stick with Bic's and such, although Montblanc just made this gorgeous new pen called the Limited Edition Mystery Masterpiece that i would love to draw with. Though the $730,000 price tag is a little too high for a pen, I have a hard time justifying the money for a set of Copic markers that I lust after and still have yet to buy. Oh well, I think I'm rambling...
